Macho Creek Lodge is approximately 45 miles (50 minutes) south of San Antonio, Texas.

From San Antonio
From the San Antonio International Airport, take Highway 281/Interstate 37 south.  (281 South and Interstate 37 are the same highway in San Antonio.)
From the south side of San Antonio, stay on Interstate 37 south about 22 miles to Highway 97.
Go west (right) on Hwy. 97 through Pleasanton to Jourdanton.
In Jourdanton, take Highway 16 south (left).
Travel on Hwy 16 about 11-12 miles, and turn east (left) on FM 3387 (road to San Miguel Power Plant).
Travel on FM 3387 about 3 miles and follow the curve to the south (right) in the highway.
Travel about 3 more miles.
The Macho Creek Lodge entrance sign is on the east (left) side of the road.

From Houston:
Take Interstate 10 west to San Antonio.
On the east side of San Antonio, take Loop 410 south (left). 
Stay on Loop 410 until you get to Interstate 37.
Take Interstate 37 south. (From here, follow the directions above from “the south side of San Antonio.)
