Macho Creek offers Bobwhite Quail, Mourning Dove, and Duck wing-shooting, big-game hunting for Whitetail Bucks, Wild Hogs, Javelinas, Rio Grande Turkey and Alligators, Bass Fishing and Ranch Resort Vacations.
The lodge facilities date back to a circa 1876 cowboy bunkhouse. The lodge offers very nice accommodations yet maintains the ambience of a fifth-generation ranch.

BUCK HUNTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE UPCOMING 2007-08 SEASON!!!
A low fence, free ranging B&C 225 buck was taken at Macho Creek Lodge on October 16, 2005. The buck nets 214 7/8 and is in the official Boone and Crockett record book. The "good news" is, the crew at Macho Creek has seen two other younger bucks that in two years "should" outscore this monster buck.
As of April 24, 2006, Shawn Griffin is now Manager of Macho Creek Lodge. Call and ask for Shawn for any booking, pricing or scheduling information. ...
